I thought I recognized that voice - IT WAS JF FUCKING HARDING! MARCUS FUCKING OSBORN NARRATED AN ANNABETH ALBERT BOOK! Yeah, no wonder I think her books have good solo narration - they're done by actual voice actors and not just narrators!

One downside to the Out of Uniform series (for me) is that during the barbecue (etc.) scenes with all the characters/couples from all the books, I can never remember which damn character/couple is which, or from which book, with which plot. I mean, except for Apollo, because it's easy enough to remember he's the widower with the twin girls.

How does this woman keep managing to write books that feel fresh? And I love the total lack of slut shaming toward Ben.

Need a refresher on what genuinely good solo narration is like, and spice scenes I know will be written decently. I can always count on good ol' Annabeth.
