Following the premise: you can’t trust unmarried women. Good god!!!

The story of Mrs. Baker, the head of the institution, demonstrates the ensuing idea of generational trauma and abuse against women, leaving the male species entirely innocent of any possible blame for their bad behavior. She blames the woman for breaking up her marriage when she should be blaming her husband. I never understand this line of thinking. 🤔
