Not my favorite revolutionary story. A lot of swearing and the main character is an adolescent and frankly annoying. It also is fairly graphic with violent content so pre-read for the under 12 crowd. It does do a good job of showing the bleak and very much not glorious side of war. I won’t buy for my personal library or have my kids read it.
