Threads all coming together, histories explained & the action is definitely cranking up

Rufus the cross-dressing alligator - I love a pet cameo but his sass & involvement in the storyline is fabulous darling!

A bit of a side-quest in this instalment, where we got history of the two main characters - would love to see either a book or novella detailing both of their histories on more detail.

Really enjoying this - it's fun, has great character development & a lot of twists & turns that keeps the pace high

We hsd some drama of a fire today which gave more tension to the narrative which I enjoyed , some father / son bonding which felt like it was a set-up for something further in the book. Loving the catch phrase 'stay there Colin' that seems to be adopted by more characters. But the best thing for me was the racoon! Hopefully we will see more of him 😁

Reading as part of 'read-my-followers' so will be done in bite-size chunks.

Great start to the book, a lot of descriptive narrative & interesting characters - love the pet crocodile!
