I’m honestly disappointed that most of this book is comprised of literary analyses. I don’t know these characters or these stories, and by giving us her feminist thesis through the framing device of literary analysis, I fear Dworkin spends more time explaining the context of the stories than actually saying what she wants us to retain. I feel much more detached than I would be if her examples weren’t fictional.

I’m ready to become even more feminist than I already am.
