Despite what others say of this book. I am throughly enjoying it. I watched the AMC series first and then became interested in the books. I am enjoying the details included that the show had to cut. Especially, the letter Diana’s mother left for her to be delivered by Diana’s haunted childhood home. It was beautifully written. I connected to it as a mother. I also love the different interpretations of vampires.
