I thinkkk this book needed a longer intro of JUST the girl before her sacrifice. things about the town. maybe a scene of a person or two getting killed by demons to set the world. Also like. I get this is a book for Elias fuckers but it completely misses the charm of Elias’ relationship with Chise… sigh. She’s too Quirky and Snappy
