This was an interesting read and I did definitely enjoy it for the most part. It was written fairly well, though I suppose it's true that it's unfairly compared to Homer. Although there were certain timeline things that didn't seem quite right like Castor and Pollux being on the Argo even though the later Trojan war was fought over their sister and Peleus father of Achilles was on the same journey. getting more interesting, still not very attached to any of the characters and I'm starting to see why this is considered the lesser contemporary of Homer. But the onward to Colchis section was much more fun to read than all the preparation and listing of every argonaut and their lineage
