Crazy to me what this book is doing with Adrien literally, LITERALLY, being the affair partner in Jake's life. Jake who has a pregnant girlfriend. Is it going for compartmentalisation on purpose or does the author not see women as people and has her own dissonance. Adrien thinks they're dating and is buying steaks in case Jake comes over tonight Adrien STAND UP!!!
