I feel like I’m really slogging my way through this book.

I’ve definitely broken away from reading stressful novels but I find the writing here to be sickly sweet. All the unnecessary foreshadowing is irritating. And although I initially liked the meta nature of the plot, I now just find it dragging.

Determined to finish today though…
