I'm enjoying this a lot, but my first nitpick thus far is definitely that their transition from not-hooking-up to hooking-up felt...kinda weird. Like I think I wanted a little more of the explicit tension building and the "oh are we gonna do this" and it felt a little like even though we know they were both thinking about it, in terms of what they see each other signaling it kinda jumped right to it out of nowhere?

Oh, I also totally buy that it's good for her to understand more about food/the inner workings of the kitchen in order to promote it, but I'm not sure I see why she needs to get to the point of actual, like, menu development and now maybe also cooking something/baking desserts? Like what are the odds she'd be a natural on the level of this MICHELIN STAR CHEF in terms of actually contributing food prep?
