Hauntingly electric. I agree with Octavia Butler when she said this book seduces you so you forget about work or sleep. I have been hypnotized by Queenie Due’s eerie prose and the misanthropic haughtiness of one of the main characters, Dawit/David. He’s gotta die. Disrespectfully.
