Sad ending for Theo. Jarrett life was good but fiction.

Southerns have better manners than Northerners. henry Clay wrote the Compromise of 1850 which President Millard Fillmore favored and got him out of office. Fillmore opposed slavery but wanted to prevent Southern states from seceding. Jarret can read a horse, Martha can read a painting. Martha's mother died riding a horse.
