Maybe I’ve just hit a wall in terms of my reading habits in general, but WOW this is tedious as f*ck. Easily three times as many pages are dedicated to each leg of this “adventure” as there should be. I really hope things get better in this second half.

Still slow going, but I’m liking the characters and sense of adventure and peril so far. Probably won’t update my progress often for this one, as I’m only chipping away bits and I have four concerts in a row this weekend, so the bits will be even smaller.

Off to a slow start, mainly because it already feels incredibly repetitive, but I don’t hate being inside King’s mind again. I haven’t read nearly enough of him these past couple years.
