The chapters are so short in this book, which I normally wouldn’t mind but I’m not a huge fan of how many POVs we’re adding. It’s hard enough to make first-person narration work with two different people who think differently. Anymore than that and it begins to feel like every character is the same person.

This book might be a touch harder to get through. I’m already getting tired of this cat-and-mouse chase they keep going on. Also while I haven’t really minded this dual POV situation, Samkiel is starting to sound like a broken record of his undying care and devotion for Dianna and it’s a tad overbearing.
