Juliette really comes out looking like a new person after shaving her head because the confidence and authority has me cheering for her.

AND THEN WARNER AND JULIETTE FINALLY TALK but no resolution. I’m so near the end and I feel like I just learned so much new things in this book that I fear so much is going to blow up in the next book…… also have no idea how it’s gonna end in this book

Aaron had an ex and were together for TWO YEARS and broke up 8 months ago and he never told Juliette? Jaw on the floor. But Aaron helping Nazeera’s brother shows how big his heart really is.

ALSO NAZEERA CAN FLY AND TURN INVISIBLE??? Her power being like Kenji’s while she hates him is so funny.

The Reestablishment wants to destroy Sector 45 and everyone in it!!!!

What do you mean Nazeera can FLY? Or at least survive falling from heights that would seriously injure a normal person?

What do you mean the daughter of the Supreme Commander of Europe is here and she’s also Aaron’s EX???

Every time I think okay it’s getting a little slow now, Tahereh Mafi decides to throw 500 plot twists at me.

Also, where would anyone be without Kenji? He’s literally the best.

I LOVE the interactions between Aaron, Adam & James. Makes me so happy.

Also Juliette is constantly getting handsy with Aaron now and Juliette girl, I understand.

So many things have just been dropped at once??? Juliette’s name isn’t even Juliette? Her “real” parents are on their way? She has a sister named Emmaline who Warner has experimented on? And WHY did Nazeera shoot Juliette???

So many questions and I genuinely feel like I know NOTHING at this point. I’m literally back to being as confused as I was in Book 1 😭

Adam has annoyed me up until this point. Now, after that chapter with him and Warner, I want nothing but a strong bond between them and him to be happy.

Also, Kenji telling Juliette his backstory and what happened to him/his family. I literally teared up, he’s been through so much. He’s literally my favourite character ever like I love this man.

It’s a slower start rn, basically Juliette and her worries about leading the restablishment but Aaron and Warner are about to talk one on one and I’m excited to see (if) there’ll be any relationship built between them.

We are soooo back.

Things are slow rn but knowing Tahereh Mafi, it always picks up after the half way point so WE WILL SEE.

I’m always glad to be back into this world.
