It was pretty easy to read although I mixed up the characters occasionally. It’s hard with 100 boys. I do tend to like endings that feel more complete. I do like that we find out who wins tho. It was an interesting concept but lacking something. I read that it is an allegory for the Vietnam war. I do find it more complete in that sense

I have never read a Stephen King book but I have wanted to. I was between this and the Institute which I hope to read later. I like dystopian books. Stephen king is from Maine and I like that the setting of his books are in Maine. So far the story is interesting. I am not sure entirely why they do this long walk. I hope we learn more about their world. We have gotten hints like when he mention his father being taken
