I've seen this hyped a lot. What do you think?

It starts a little YA-y, and you can feel Buehlman’s renfaire vibe; but when you hit the action then you can feel him hit overdrive as his bard sensibilities kick in. It’s a post-Christian text, I think, but one that isn’t trying to be blasphemous for the sake of shock. Like The Exorcist, I think he doesn’t hold back when describing the dæmonic
