Doing the bare minimum for your child is not a good parenting. Also, that verse is more about being able to stone disobidient children. As for first world countries losing their way, maybe they are thinking past themselves. The global climate, in a few different senses, is not the best. Replacement rates are often brought up by people who do little parenting and don't think beyond the immediate future.

I imagine for a good chunk of the adult children that go no contact, they don't care about the will. Also a good chance the parents use that against their children.

I love cats but I find that example amusing. Cats more than other potential pets don't always demand attention beyond food and water. Perfect for a more negligent person

Love how you only bring up a violent example of mental illness. You are right, it's not a get out of jail free card. However, it is something to take into account and adjust to. Treating someone with any disorder as someone 'normal' does not make things better. Ignoring it can make it worse.

I find it amusing that you bring up boundries. I imagine you expected them to respect yours but you don't respect theirs. That's not 'wokism,' whatever that is. Some kids might go no contact for first world reasons. However, it is unlikely that's the main reason. Stating this just confirms this for your intended audience.

Sounds like you don't understand what those commentors meant. A single mom can physically provide for her children but other areas may be lacking. That's not her fault. There are more than physical needs and it sounds like you may have been neglecting those
