I'm impatiently waiting for Daisy and Max to cross paths.

I'm not a fan of chapters that end on a cliffhanger because now I'm in suspense. 😮

I'm still impressed by Max's courage and determination and courage. 🙂

I wonder if Artemis and Sheldrake were talking about Max. I'm hesitant to guess about that.

I'm emotionally invested in these characters, especially Daisy. She's very relatable. It's also interesting that Acorn doesn't fall into the feisty redhead trope or archetype. I like that! 🙂

Daisy is about to get herself into trouble. Oh, dear!! 😖😵‍💫

I'm glad that the homeopathic medicine that Max received from his mother gave him strength.
