HE HANDS HER A CHOCOLATE BONBON. The man literally has her stress habits memorized! He knew exactly when she was overwhelmed, knew she runs on sweets and chocolates under pressure, and had it ready to go. You do NOT track someone's subconscious coping mechanisms that closely unless you are secretly, deeply OBSESSED! The slow-burn friction is already elite, and it is totally giving me that "he fell first" energy!
