You know when a specific word gets permanently claimed by one character? Every time I see the word 'dove', my brain instantly goes to Cross Redden. So I was honestly stressed I wouldn't be able to switch gears and focus on Sean and Layla. But it actually works so well! And the fact that he calls her 'little dove' just helps seal the deal.
