The level of detail in the book vs. the show is night and day. The plot of the book is SO much better. It goes wayyyyy more into detail, and Joe is way creepier.

And I'll say it...Beck is hot (yeah, I said it)

The show is much easier to follow because he keeps imagining things and it’s hard to know what’s real in this book (if you don’t already know what’s going to happen)
