this is as far as i’ve gotten in it before vacation so i’m swapping over to the piano teacher for the time being

this book is a masterclass in everything djing and i can’t wait to get back to this when i get back into the groove with teaching and my own career plans

being a dj is to be inherently political, artistic, and socially and culturally aware all at once

yeaahhhh it definitely reads like two guys wrote this-

but reading between the lines, there’s history and love and real knowledge here… more knowledge i’d ever get peddling around the underground scene, that’s for sure

i’m glad i decided to step back and started honing in on my craft; reading this just tells me i may have been ready, but not ready enough.
