Hmmm… I really can’t tell what I think of Claire (and as this is a sequel there isn’t much background on her). In a way she’s interesting (the sequences of thoughts!) but she’s also rather… unlikeable as a main character. Doesn’t quite have the charisma of a ‘Dexter’ or Hannibal…

A murder has occurred (and not by Claire) while the first books’ plot has been discussed by a member of the bereavement group who’s visiting the pub… ooops!

It has gotten funnier (the pub sequence definitely drew me back in!) I’m intrigued about several possibly suspicious characters (old ladies, grumpy pub partner, overly happy pub partner… everyone!)
