If you’ll let me be nerdy about it for a moment, since the records are all available…in the 4 years I lived there, there were 3 tornado warnings and 0 tornados in the immediate area. So why the heck are there so many tornadoes happening in one month in this book?!

They’ve mentioned several times that they’re in the Orlando area, and they just went to the town I lived in for 3 of my 4 years there, which made me realize—I think they’ve had 3 tornadoes so far, but I don’t recall a single tornado warning the entire time I lived there. I remember wondering what we’d do when we lived in an apartment, but never had to figure that out.
