It’s been a while since a character has frustrated me as much as Anoor, she’s significantly hampering my enjoyment of this, and will probably significantly lower the rating too. Disappointingly, I’m beginning to feel similar about Sylah too

Whilst this is much better than book 2, Anoor is still so frustrating to me. Her development in book 2 was not strong enough to justify her character choices and development in this book, and she is so painfully naive in a way she wasn’t even in book 1. Every other POV has seen a major improvement at least
