I don’t read poetry so I’ve been treating this like homework where I write down a synopsis of each poem that I searched up and then read said poem with the summary in mind to reference to instead of just guessing what the author is trying to convey. so far it’s working but it doesn’t feel like im doing this for pleasure. it feels like an assignment🥴
