I really want to like this book, but thus far it's just very...unremarkable. The writing isn't bad per se, but it's definitely teetering around "mediocre" & "okay."
My biggest issue so far is that it is so LONG. I keep thinking I've made progress, only to look up & find I'm not even 1/3 of the way through. Maybe things will improve...but I'm not sure if I can stick around & keep reading long enough to find out.
