Love the twist. Siya is such a great character.

The narrator is really great. I’ve never been exposed to mock trial clubs, this has been fun to learn! I’ve gotten teary a few times because Seeya’s story includes grief. She tries to balance all the feelings of her family members, and she just can’t be responsible for everyone else.

Good book, but I never realized how much grief is stuffed into books. Not since my dad died. Now I’m extra sensitive to it, I guess, and sooo many YA books are stories of loss and grief.
