much peace, war is taking a bit of a backseat atm.
- natasha needs to lock tf in
- reflections on leaders as shortcut for understanding the motions of history
- pierre is kind of cooking atm. i'm fucking seething.

me? a month and a half behind my reading goal for this? more likely than u would think

- i hate pierre sm more in his cringefail philanthropist era
- rostov is who pierre thinks he is now
- confirmed firsthand this is absolutely just tsarist fanfiction
-nesvitsky gentle parenting retail worker rep we need in the world ❤️
- natasha realest woman to ever live
- "one can kill, and steal, and still be happy..."

pg 297: end of vol. 1
-so much war
-pierre's tomfoolery never ends
-wait is this shit just tsar fanfiction?
-w/rostov self insert??
-rostov wants that emperussy badd
-is andreich a tsundere?
-denisov: "haha u want the tsar so bad bro LMFAOO"
rostov: "don't joke about the truth."
-COUNT TOLSTOY SELF INSERT?
-<3 the existentialist tones surrounding prince andrei's near death experience
-"little insignificant napoleon"

some takeaways so far
- war!
- it is very important to tolstoy that we are aware of exactly how juicy and moist nesvitsky's mouth is
-prince andrei? more like prince andr-gay the way this man is moving around captain tushkin
-everyone is going a bit mad as they realize just how miserable and stupid war is. particularly enjoy where we're headed with rostov-the dawning horror of realizing everything he gave up for THIS

100 pages in. lots of talk about war. some people would prefer peace. pierre needs to lock tf in

yeah we're doing this.
