Probably my favorite chapter so far even if it contained the longest break i took from the book. Love pat, couldnt keep up with all the names. The direction it goes in at the end (pact for immortality) is actually really cool and i wish it had that direction in it earlier (which i at least didnt pick up on)

Actually this is my fav chapter. Conny is an incredible character, her backstory is beautiful and her situation is arresting. İ like magical turn this novel has taken in its final quarter

İ really like this chapter bcs im also putting together a family tree and also it plays with the many people and connections weve made so far. İt also connects the little township ruby and the convent's ideas of paradise with America in large as a promised paradise

this is a real page turner ! i am still chasing the high of Jazz' writing style but its just not gonna happen again i guess. anyways i am having a good time with this :)
