The worst thing this book has ever done is give me Reb’s POV (fantastic narratively, I just HATE him).
It’s insane to me that Reb is THIS terrible at age 8, I know that this is bred from being raised in a severely abusive household, but I genuinely wonder if he could have been anything *but* this.
He’s a narcissist and a psychopath, I genuinely believe he was only ever capable of cruelty.
