I read Appendix II: Sex and the Expedition. Regarding the claims of possible sons of Lewis and Clark with Native American women, I’m not impressed that Crista Cowan, Ancesty’s Corporate Genealogist, was chosen as a source.
A far better choice would have been Roberta Estes, who is a renowned Native American DNA expert. Just sayin’.
