AH. This is a wild book. Roots touch with plant medicine, archetypes, symbols and whichery. This occurs at a time where tradition and "science/western medicine begin to colide." Women, their traditional roles, and relationships are wild. ALSO the methoods of treatment for made up illnesses via vibrator are crazy. This book feels ugly, depressing, and charming.
