So far I'm loving the writing, but it's not "wow"-ing me yet so far. Hilal talks about her experience with her perception of her own self and how ugliness has distanced her from the women in her bloodline. while Hilal was mostly repetitive, i still found myself enjoying her lyrical writing. so far so good. the visuals were also a nice touch.
