This chapter stepped into love in childhood and how important it is to not only receive it but for it to not show us love in a light of abuse or physical punishment.

Chapter Three to me may end up being a recurring read as truth and honesty in all areas is so essential in being able to love but not only that the power of lies in each persons creation of self is so dangerous that its important to have a reminder to why we shouldn’t let ourselves get trapped in deception.

The introduction and first chapter opened my eyes to the idea that there may be a way to define love outside of and intrapersonal level, and now has me wondering what that definition could be
