it’s always the twin brother up in here. this is some gravity falls voodoo. mr. curtain appears to be mr. benedict’s long lost brother, both mr’s being identical, except for mr. curtain being a wheelchair user and their sense of style apparently.

oh also also. the #1 plot is so confusing. it’s something regarding like mind reading or mind control by sending telepathic messages and do… something or other which is explained but also not really? strange.

the kids have made it to the institute. i also forgot to mention that sticky’s name is FULLY george washington which hilarious. peak comedy for like no reason. i approve.

it’s been a bit slow for a while, started out very intriguing but then got sort of stuck between plots if that makes sense? i like the characters, i just wish some of them didn’t seem too one-dimensional, like constance for example. the other 3 have more layers to them in my opinion.

very silly so far in the best way. i’m intrigued and really the the characters. we meet reynie (love this name), sticky and kate, who are kids who pass these randomized tests that are hella unconventional but also include social/kindness/morality tests which they are not aware are going on. love me some new concepts for books. so excited.
