Awe Lu and Slade r being adorable reminiscing bout the Wrath and everything’s it’s cute. I like the idea of Slade adopting all these rando broken ppl and giving them a chance to rise up. And especially to Auren. And he’s got a cute little love of birds too from his flashback chapters so it’s cute

Damn so he can’t get the last of the rot out so she’s still unconscious. But what if it’s bc she’s fae that the rot won’t leave? Or maybe it’s a mated thing, like each having a piece of each others magic? Or maybe Kaila’s foreshadowing bout Auren stealing magic. That would be tea. wtf is dead well btw and why does everyone we HAVE to take Auren there? This chapter was elevated by Digby as well!

Love opening the book on Kaila’s chapter. But why does everyone think Auren can steal powers? And not the fact that Midas lied and could’ve easily lied about gold touching her. And even Kaila herself said that the “pet turned on the master“, so girl put two and two together. And I’m scared that her plan for controlling the kingdoms fail but she’s hella tea.
