Already not wanting the book to end and I’m still not half way through? Candice depicts the absolute truth of being the only one “in the room” so perfectly, and is so brilliant at making sure Queenie is an actual human with flaws and feelings. I don’t want to say goodbye to my mate again at the end of this book

Genuinely feels like catching up with an old friend, my favourite style of writing and I’m still laughing out loud with Queenie after all these years

It’s like chatting with an old friend you’ve not seen for a year, over a coffee both of you can’t afford but got to post on insta
