I can imagine Whit so easily. I hope he can lose some of the cynicism and find a reason to hope again.

I'm relishing the descriptions of Cairo; the clothes, the food, the items, and the buildings.

It feels so obvious that Inez belongs in Egypt. It's sad and mysterious that her parents didn't ever bring her along.
