30% into this book and we don't know why Ray in holding Lilith hostage instead of just getting rid of her. Lilith seems to be easily affected and influenced.
A evident plot hole is her family was so worried about her moving into this area and adamant she stays with a sibling or her father none of them are checking in as often as they should.
