That plot twist was nice. I loved how it has my jaw dropping a tiny bit but it also wasn’t supposed to be too crazy, I think. Either way, really fun so far. I’m loving the dynamic between these two—they’re SO CUTE! Their first kiss was just so AJSHXGSKS like Yan Xiaohan having to reel his “seething passion” back was just 🤭

It’s definitely a lot to digest with the lore and stuff but the writing style is so artistic and lowkey ethereal. It definitely creates a good visual. I’ve had to reread pages and then go back after learning more later in order to understand the full picture, but otherwise it’s fire so far
