Okay… what was that??? I'm trying to process everything that happened at this coronation because I don't even know who to trust in this book anymore. I already knew Balekin was no good, but now I don't know whether I trust Madoc or not, I don't know if I misjudged Dain, and I find myself wondering how they're going to adapt the coronation, because I am simply speechless.

I don't know, but something tells me something is going to go wrong at this coronation… and I don't even want to see when they notice Valerian is missing.

OH MY GOD, JUDE!!!!!! Though Valerian deserved it… but I still haven't gotten over what happened to Sophie and I finally understood the reason for the little stones.

Oh, now Locke doesn't make me feel safe at all anymore. And I wanted to read more, but my LED light ran out of battery.

Gosh, I'm so mad at Oriana, I feel so bad for Oak who wants to be close to Jude and she won't let him. Plus, I'm getting really angry at Taryn.

I felt sorry for Cardan, poor thing! Balekin hadn't won me over since his first appearance, and now I like him even less.

Oh, I still don't know if I like Taryn and Vivi. I feel a sort of Elain and Nesta energy from them, but maybe I'll end up liking them later on, I don't know. Now I'm keeping an eye on Dain; I don't know if I trust or distrust him.

Guys… Jude ate Cardan up 😯 I was gobsmacked. And I thought Locke was cute. But seriously, I'm loving that Jude didn't let herself be humiliated; I love protagonists like that.

I don't mean to make a direct comparison, but Jude and her sisters reminded me a bit of the Archeron sisters, and that's making me love the book. The few similarities I'm finding between The Cruel Prince and ACOTAR are making me feel like I'm going back home, something I didn't feel much with Throne of Glass.

Oh, I'm loving this book. If I was supposed to hate Cardan, it's too late because I'm loving him. It reminds me that I was told I would hate Rhysand on his first appearance, and I loved him right away. Jude is also making me fall in love with her. I'm still a bit wary of Cardan's friends and Jude's sisters, but I won't jump to conclusions.
