There was a random line about Rent the Runway. Why? It felt like they just called random businesses so the businesses could be like, “Yeah, I guess I was inspired by entrepreneur Barbie too. Now put me in your book to promote my company.”
It just feels disingenuous. Also that one girl who played out her mom’s miscarriage in a focus group…🫣😬

Oh BOY do I have a lot to say about chapter 3!!!
Again I ask: who is editing this?! “Her doll wore in a white fencing outfit, including her hijab and her fencing mask, accessorized by a silver handled fencing sabre.” Wore in???
There were 3-4 full pages detailing every single doll in a specific collection and it made me go back and look at when this book was released because it just seemed like a promotion!
