And we finally have a FEELINGS confession. Y’all this slow burn is so damn good. I’m OBSESSED.

The slow burn is done so well here and it’s so different to anything I’ve read in romantasy.

“A life of fear was not a life.” Samara is an FMC I am really liking and rooting for. I have a feeling her development is going to HIT.

It’s really refreshing to read a romantasy that’s actually doing vampire politics right.

First, I love the MMC and FMC’s names: Raphael and Samara. Second, when they introduced themselves to each other, this line though: “instead of waking with hunger on my mind, I woke with a name on my lips.” HOT.

Right out the gate and I can tell this one’s going to be a banger.
