I AM SCREAMING!!! I take back what I said about Mireille having bird brain. She’s a fucking badass!

I sort of see where she was going with her seduction. I suppose in a way that’s preferable to getting tortured and beat up all the time and she even got some amenities out of it. Can’t really fault her for that. But I just find Valen repulsive at this point, making those scenes really hard to get through. Oh also, he’s almost killed her… again.

This book is making mad. I thought Mireille might have had some kind of plan but turns out she just has bird brain🤦‍♀️ She’s completely lost me. But I got this far so I might as well finish it.

I hope every single person that recommended this book to me steps on a lego
