I feel like I'm suffering. Even if I found the plot interesting, I've had such a hard time getting past her constantly telling the characters what happens in their/the original story and I **DO NOT** care for the romance whatsoever. Imo it reads more "LQ self-insert" than a high quality full/big picture story

Yeah the actual story + explaining the book she's in REALLY bogs things down imo. I'm not invested enough. Also ?? I don't care for her suddenly being romanced here and there. Also - also ?? I feel like the verbiage is weirdly modern and not very fantasy/medieval which I'm not a massive fan of? Not that I want it to be incomprehensible but it's still like too chill imo

Bruh she's talking TOO much. Like, I get that it makes the book more... actionable? for her to be more involved like this - but it also seems like a bad idea. Like I think I would've rathered a more slice of life style portal book than whatever this is becoming

I'm not hating it but I'm not devouring this either. I was really 50/50 given the reviews. I didn't want to reread Annie Bot for the third time either for the GR challenge. Love Annie Bot though. I might eventually re-read her
