apparently I’m not a fan of books that are slow from beginning to end. I know it’s character driven but none of the characters had me invested enough to get over the lack of action. Fitz might be an unreliable narrator, but there’s enough for me to think he’s unbelievable as an assassin. He’s been treated poorly his whole life and still underestimates the people around him.
