uhhh 性别 is NOT a radical inclusive term and it doesn’t mean gender and in fact it turns sex and gender into one word…also nobody uses 两性 that word has a number in it why would it be used to mean sex/gender…what are we even saying right now

ehhh idk if you can just say “separate gender from financial coercion” that easily. if conservatives use financial coercion to push their ideologies, and progressives don’t do the same thing due to some moral superiority, aren’t we depriving people from living a better life? just to performatively prove that we’re more ethical than the conservatives?

many conservatives & others tend to make the assumption that reading certain material means you’re blindly accepting & following & being indoctrinated by the ideologies in the book, and this assumption was def something i feared before starting this book. BUT the author addresses this in the introduction LMAO - “gender critics imagine that their opponents read gender theory as they themselves read the bible...”
